NYC pop rockers Mainland are back with a chugging splendorous banger named Beggars. The single is the first from the trio’s forthcoming album Night Trials, due out later this year. Beggars leaves me begging for that album’s arrival, its rambunctious melody and strapping vigor much entrapping and enthralling. If the post punk and alt rock of Cold War Kids and Cage The Elephant went a little more pop, it might sound something like Mainland’s ace new anthem. Beggars is a resounding return, and I can’t wait to hear more from Mainland’s forthcoming album.
