Londoner Westerman emerges in the music woodwork with a spectacularly jangling treat of a folk debut named Harvard. His gorgeously soothing vocals remind me of Sweden’s José González, but Harvard carries a The Shins like 70′s psych tinged quality and a subtle coarseness much like Lewis Del Mar. The rustic charmer is a mesmerizing number, its capriciouis melody pure lilting magic. Purchase or stream Harvard from various other outlets, here.
