It’s nearly a year since the last SXSW, and I’m still sitting here feeling rather sheepish that I shook the great hand of venerated French producer Fred Falke in Austin and walked away before realizing who it was. Let’s pretend none of that happened by losing ourselves to a brilliant remix of Fred Falke’s It’s A Memory by Louisville based genius, AMTRAC. The talent studded tune, which features rising electropop virtuoso Elohim and Los Angeles’ Mansions on the Moon, gets a contemplative yet fluttering light makeover. Wispy but deep, panoramic yet intimate, AMTRAC’s It’s A Memory certainly takes us on a gliding, airy walk, or rather, a skipping dance through the grand passages and deep canyons of our recollective minds. Purchase AMTRAC”s remix of It’s A Memory from various outlets, here.
