Considered by some at home as one of the best new bands in Britain, Kagoule seems to live up that title on the songs I’ve heard from the Nottingham trio so far. Though one of their less “fierce” rockers, Made Of Concrete is a personal favorite. It’s a slow burning rock song that shimmers with lustrous guitars.  90′s evoking Wolf Alice grit and swaying Palace blues smoothly march together in harmony, topped off with plenty of dreamy reverb. Serene yet raw and visceral at the same time, Made Of Concrete is but one of many stunning tunes from Kagoule’s debut album, Urth, set for a US release on August 21st via Earache Records. Pre-order on iTunes.
