Over the past couple months, I’ve shared a couple terrific remixes of UK duo Meadowlark’s gorgeous music. Add this new one of supple, entrancing beauty Fly to that growing list. Belgian production act The Walton Hoax craft an emotionally charged, gut wrenching remix out of the original, which was produced by Oh Wonder’s Ant West. It doesn’t get much more heart string tugging and tear jerking than this magnificent rendition. The Walton Hoax’s remix of  Fly is an amazing balance of delicate, tender vocals and atmospheric, downtempo electronic. It oscillates between hushed aching moments and cathartic swells. Meadowlark’s original will be released on July 10th via Believe Recordings.

Brooklyn’s BAILE revealed more music off his forthcoming Matter EP, out July 24th on Color Station, including this seductive and dark gem, the title track. BAILE reunites with Ava Luna’s Felicia Douglass for the song, and once again, she lends entrancing, beautiful vocals to the haunting track. The slow burning, moody track slithers and undulates with an organic sensuality, all the while thickly weighted with such heavy, meditative atmosphere. Matter reminds me of George Maple’s music, but with a more textured and bass suffused soundscape. BAILE’s pitch shifted vocals add an extra dose of dark, stewing solemnity to the palpable lustful despair of Matter.

New Sydney duo Ever So will have you dancing around in euphoria to their debut indie electronic song Not Over You. Shea & Oscar seem to combine the sleek smoothness of Clean Bandit or RÜFÜS / RÜFÜS DU SOL with the bumping groove of Oliver Heldens, Tchami, and ZHU. Not Over You is an exhilarating, popping song… a surefire bonafide jam. It’s a crazy good first offering from a duo whose name we’ll hearing a lot more.

Continuing on the path of charming, radiant indie dance remixes with this new rendition of I Am Harlequin’s Dance With Anyone by a producer from Kazakhstan named Farleon. Farleon captializes on the original’s hooking charm and crafts an airy, uplifting nu-disco and electro pop remix that oozes good vibes all around. I’m quickly reminded of 80′s Whitney Houston classics by the irresistible jam.

For a weightlessly buoyant and lustrous remix, we turn to the combined efforts of Vancouver duo WMNSTUDIES and their Dirty Radio / Blondtron buddy WASPY, who previously teamed up on a song named Life Musik already. Together, they’ve crafted an intoxicating indie dance edit of Canadian electronic duo HUMANS’ Tell Me. It’s a grooving, funky remix with a touch of Caribou like exotic allure. The remix is part of a remix package for Humans’ debut album, Noontide, out earlier this year. Check out the rest of the Noontide remixes, here.

Keeping us in Germany on this next one, a sultry debut from a three piece from the South Palitinate area of Germany. ROMN recently signed to Sony ATV worldwide for publishing and they plan to self release their debut EP, MMXV, via Very Us Records come July 3rd. The first single off that record is this simmering, slinking tune named Collide, a Glass Animals meets Chet Faker treat. Heated and full of swagger, Collide might be one of the best debuts this week.

It would seem that Germany has quite the handle on endearing folksy soul meets electronic music. Joining the ranks of acts like Lions Head and Milky Chance is a duo named Frank & Friedrich, who also remind me of Britain’s Broken Back on their new song Coming Home, on which they team up with Australian singer songwriter Duncan Woods to deliver some major summer vibes. Coming Home is a gently soothing chill house song carrying plenty of heart rending sentiment.

I’ve been a fan of Swedish/Australian synth pop act Kate Boy for what feels like an eternity, having first caught wind of them over 2 years ago and been a supporter since. In fact, I’ve caught them live several times already in the meantime, both here in San Francisco and many miles away in Austin. And I’d love to catch them again, as soon as possible. You can imagine how happy I am that Kate Boy is finally releasing a debut album this November. Off “ONE” comes a brand new single, Midnight Sun, a driving, pulsing, palpitating song that captures that very bustling, animated Kate Boy quality I love about them. As always, they remind me of other Scandinavian acts I love dearly, in particular a blend of Robyn and Niki and The Dove on Midnight Sun. The single is available now. I can’t wait for more new music off ONE.

Springy, crisp synths and enchanting vocals come together to make the perfect electropop debut on Swedish newcomers Last Night On Earth’s Leaving Cities. LNOE released the tune during this past spring, but this month sees the release of a music video for the sprightly tune. Leaving Cities is a stellar first taste from the duo’s yet to be announced debut EP. They remind me of a lusher, more flushed Aurora, as if mixed with some Tove Lo, on the beautiful gem. Leaving Cities is available now on Spotify.

Los Angeles twins Good Graeff are utterly infectious with new single Peiky Peiky, a honeyed and stringy yet wonderfully uptempo pop treat. There’s no doubt that Peiky Peiky is another must add to your summer anthems playlist this year. I can’t resist classical instruments blended with pop or electronic music. Good Graeff have crafted and delivered an endearing winner of a hooking gem with this fabulous tune. Peiky Peiky is from Good Graeff’s new EP, Good Job Go, due out July 10th.
