Spector – All The Sad Young Men

I could launch into a longwinded ramble yet again about how much I’m fond of Spector, how thrilling it was to catch them live a couple years ago and to meet their wonderfully charismatic frontman Fred Macpherson, but let’s just listen to their new single All The Sad Young Men, driven by their glistening synthwavey post punk sound and Fred’s riveting vocals. Like Spector’s other music, All The Sad Young Men is an immediately infectious and gripping tune. The song is the second single off Spector’s forthcoming sophomore album, yet to be announced in detail, which I’m much excited for after falling deeply in love with their debut album, Enjoy It While IT lasts, back in 2012.
