NYC newcomer Lyon Hart is just lighting things up lately! Not only did he feature on Elephante’s very first original tune, Shake The Earth, he dropped his own solo jam The Sign, too, which then received some phenomenal remix work on it thanks to several production acts. Now, he’s at it again, with a vocal feature on a cover remix by French producers J-Art and Madan. The two music wizards take a timeless Simon & Garfunkel classic The Sound Of Silence and does it some justice, which isn’t easy, considering how much of a legendary song it is. It’s easily one of my top favorite oldies. J-Art and Madan’s rendition is a beautiful tropical and melodic house jam. There’s always been this pastoral charm about the melody on The Sound Of Silence, and they retain that quality with Lyon Hart’s soothing vocal work. Dreamy, gliding, and sublime, I’m once again faced with the dichotomy of how wonderful something named The Sound Of Silence can, er, sound.
