I’ve been in love with British band Vaults for a year now, and they never cease to amaze me with each and every new release. Solemn yet passionate comes Poison, a soul inflected and bewitching new song. Raspy vocals skate gorgeously over the enthralling, other worldly electronic production, which marches slow and fastidious. Vaults has reminded me of Bat For Lashes, Florence and the Machine, and MS MR in the past, but this time, I’m most certainly picturing a lot more Kate Bush and Niki and the Dove, but more weighty and dark. On December 1, Vaults will release their Vulture EP.
