Mysterious Los Angeles trio LANY dropped some new tunes today, and I immediately gravitated towards ILYSB, a song that reminded me much of Chet Faker at the beginning, with a touch of Twin Shadow’s feel good synthpop grandiosity. ILYSB is such a melodious, uplifting electronic pop song. It’s hard to feel downcast when those notes are ringing in your ears. ILYSB comes today, paired with BRB, a more somber and slinking number. The enigmatic act released these two tunes to follow on the heels of debuts Walk Away and Hot Lights from earlier this year.
