Last week, I was incredibly happy to find out that Sam Endicott, the lead of The Bravery, has a new project going on with some folks from Los Angeles. The new project is named The Mercy Beat, and I featured their debut single Sweet with much zealousness. Today, The Bravery made the official announcement for Sam’s involvement in this new band. Sweet was a delicious, The Bravery evoking, dark wavey post punk tune. It was great to hear Sam’s voice again, being a long time The Bravery fan myself. Don’t worry, The Bravery isn’t disbanded, they’re just on some sort of hiatus with no known end point. They may be back someday. In the meantime, The Mercy Beat has unveiled another tune, the more upbeat and bright An Act Of Mercy. Sam Endicott shows off his falsetto on this one. Revisit Sweet below.
