I’ve been gushing like mad about this Sydney synthpop band named Panama and their single Always. But take note, that’s not the only stunning tune that these guys have for us. How We Feel is off of their current EP Always. It delves even further into electronic territory with its shimmery synths and steady beat. It’s another gratifying track from the sure to buzz more band. If you’ve continued ignoring my posts of title track Always, you suck. Time to pay attention. Don’t miss out.

This track has been creating quite some buzz within the last day or so it’s been out. Finally, I’ve gotten around to posting it for y’all. We first heard of British soul singer Kwabs when Jessie Ware shared his song Spirit Fade on her Facebook account. I was immediately drawn to his Sampha like vocals. At the time, there was very little known about the mysterious new artist. Now, Kwabs has collaborated with Vienna producer SOHN, who I happen to dig a lot. Those vocals plus SOHN’s dramatic, heavy production is a win on all counts. Last Stand is a simmering, majestic beast of a slow electronic R&B track that’s sure to induce some chills and goosebumps.

OFFICIAL VID: Panteros666 – Baby F-16

Odd futuristic fantasy video aside, Panteros666’s single Baby F-16 is one for fans of the likes of Disclosure. It’ll get your heart pumping for sure if you like future garage and soulful house. However, Panteros666 is a producer not from the UK, but from Paris. He can lay down some dope deep beats. Time to get on that dance floor.

Klangkarussell remix of Laura Mvula’s Sing To The Moon

October 31, 2013

Earlier this year, I featured a British soul singer named Laura Mvula. There was no doubt in my mind she was about to garner some major buzz. She went on to become quite the rising star back at home. Now, Austrian electronic duo Klangkarussell (who dropped that dope tune Sonnentaz earlier this year) has done a sick remix of her transcendental, beautiful song Sing To The Moon. They turn the elegant, magnificent track on its heels, creating a bass heavy, echo filled deep house rendition well worthy of a listen. Check it out below, and listen to the sublime original cut of the tune, too.

LYRIC VID: Tritonal feat. Phoebe Ryan – Now Or Never

October 31, 2013

And now for a straight up melodic, high energy EDM moment. Austin house duo Tritonal’s Now Or Never features Phoebe Ryan on heavenly, ethereal vocals. It’s one of those cathartic American progressive house tracks. I can’t help but to enjoy the melody and the formulaic build up. This would be loads of fun to jump to and be swept away with live. Now Or Never is the second single off Tritonal’s coming EP Metamorphic II.
