Brand new Bear Hands!

Brooklyn indie rockers Bear Hands have a new EP out, and they previewed all 3 tracks together on youtube the other day. Stream Songs from Utopia Volume 1 below (along with some mundane random video footage). The EP includes the following tracks: What I’ve Learned, Bullshit Saviour Complex, and Disaster Shy. You can also get the FULL EP for FREE from their generous website, here. Like a fine wine, Bear Hands’ psychadelic experimental post-punk rock seems to be getting ever the better with time. All 3 tunes from the EP are brilliant, with the faster paced Bullshit Saviour Complex standing out as most memorable upon first listen. What I’ve Learned is great too, and the partially acoustic Disaster Shy seems to be the most emotive and raw. Great EP, guys, successful EP. I’m a bigger fan than before.

Regardless, Crime Pays is still my favorite Bear Hands song, and the teddy bear video is the BEST, most mesmerizing, yet simple fan made unofficial clip for it. I am easily amused. And somehow, this is SO amusing. To me, at least.
